I have a an Xbox 360 that has the red ring of death. I tried to fix it but with no luck. I bought a new one so here you go. Comes with console itself. No cables or controllers.

this may sound strange but do you know id the disc drive works? usually when a xbox goes red ring its the board but im asking because all we need to fix ours is a new disc drive.

I think the drive had trouble reading some of my older games but the newer games worked fine. I don't believe that is the problem with it. Please realize I am selling this Xbox 360 for parts and I do not believe it is fixable. I am not an expert but I chose to buy a new one because I already attempted to fix this one. I make no claims that anything on this Xbox works it has sat for more than a year. I honestly do not remember that much about it.

can you tell us what type of red ring it is? The red lights should give you a code if you try checking for the problem. The code tries telling you whats wrong. I wonder if i can fix it or not.
