For your consideration, a small piece of Thunder Bay Amethyst. Thunder Bay Amethyst gets it's name from the Thunder Bay region of Ontario, Canada where it originates from and is currently mined. It is generally found as a "Chevron Banded Amethyst" crystal.
Thunder Bay Amethyst with a red tip is also known by it's metaphysical name 'Auralite 23'.
