This coin (IS NOT) and (WAS NOT) part of any type of coin collection. It was pulled from my pocket change. Please DO NOT expect an Un-Circulated coin. Coin has been circulated.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this coin is not silver. It is copper-nickel. You should update the listing with the correct info. Good luck either way.

1964 was the last year for the silver content coins. There are silver proofs issued by the mint but as your pic shows the side view, you can clearly see the copper nickel sandwich. Also yhe silver proofs have an S mark on them. Sorry this is just a normal VERY circulated 76 quarter.

It's hard to tell sometime by loooking. Easy mistake to make. Also you see a lot of ppl make the claim on eBay thinking all 76 quarters were silver proofs. If I remember correctly they made more silver proofs that year then any other.
