Are the "stones" acrylic?

I found it in a chest in my attic. Probably from the 19th century or something of the sort. I don't know what you're trying to insinuate by saying "stones," but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt :)

Fortheloveofvintage isn't insinuating anything. That Listia member is practically an expert in vintage goods. The pictures and description don't offer watchers and potential bidders enough information to determine whether the "stones" are truly stone or glass or any other material. Are there any maker's marks or stamps on the piece? Have you had it appraised? I think it's lovely regardless of it's value and will be watching and possibly bidding on this item.

it's not an antique item. Just an antique style. Very lovely though.stones are not "real".
