hmm, sterling, to be honest I do not know. Markings? What do you mean? If you damages or something like that, no there are no scratches or anything like that, it is in very good condition.

Markings mean some sort of written words or numbers on the inside of the ring. For instance, if the ring you have posted has "925" written in it then it is sterling. Hope this helps you.
