This auction is for an absolutly gorgeous and so unique solid 925 sterling silver and opal stones bracelet. This is a very old vintage bracelet that I bought at an estate sale this last weekend the owner said they bought it used about 25 years ago but they are not sure how old it was when they bought it so it is older than that even. The bracelet is in pretty good condition for it's age it does need to be cleaned which I will do before I ship it. The bracelet has 7 gorgeous feiry opals on them that have such an amazing play of color to them. There is a different sort of clasp to it that has a small chain attached to it. the bracelet is clearly marked twice 925 on it as well as the word sterling. This measures about 7 1/2" long and each of the opals measure about 1/2" long. This weighs just about 10 grams. As always shipping will be FREE! YAY!

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE: I forgot to mention when I listed this that I am not sure that the opals are real or not and I got an email from another member who believes they are glass cabs meant to look like opals so I am not sure either way it is a gorgeous bracelet

The stones are not real opal. They are poor imitations made of colored foil and plastic. Do not be fooled. The stones have a net worth of $0.00. The only value is in the silver.

That is kind of a rude comment to be honest and I never claimed them to be real stones. Also they are not plastic. They feel like glass or something along them lines but not plastic for sure. They are not poor imitations either as I think they have beautiful color to them real or not they are very very pretty. No one is trying to fool anyone look at my feedback it speaks for itself plus I mentioned above I was not sure if they were real or not. I am sorry but you are now blocked!

These "opals" a considered vintage. I have some exactly like these that I use for jewelry making and they ARE beautiful even if they are faux. I have spent all my bids for now, but if I had 1000, I would bid that for this. Honest!

Hah! I'm such an airhead~ I didn't realize how high the bidding was already. Please don't be offend by my 1000 comment. I'm new here and also a little on the "cheap" side. That bracelet is certainly worth what it's going for here, now. Although, I guess, on Listia, the value of something is really based on the desire of the people wanting it..since everything really is free. I better shut up before I dig myself in even deeper. *sheesh* ! Anyway, Great auction.

LOL you are fine I know how it is when you are new anyhow no biggie. It is a beautiful peice and regardless of if they are real or not they are still beautiful and whoever wins it will love it. I made an honest mistake when I listed the auction as I was in a hurry and I always always list wheather the stones on an item are real or faux or if I am uncertain I will state that I just was in a hurry and forget to it happens lol and geez have I been getting some rudeness because of it. The first lady who contacted me was very nice about it and as soon as I got her personal email I immediatly came on the auction and put the above comment as she reminded me of my mistake the second comment was quite rude and not needed at all. There is a difference between trying to help out someone and trying to sabotage an auction. I wonder if she wanted to win it for really low by degrading the peice as I have seen people do that on here before.
