The listing, GIN-BOTH Pink AND Blue Butterfly Bush seeds x12+ EACH COLOR has ended.
Also known as Buddleia davidii. You get 12+ seeds of each color. PINK AND BLUE.
The butterfly bush thrives in full sun and well drained soil. It prefers zones 5 - 9 where winter temps do not fall below -20 degrees.
As its name suggests, butterfly bush is a butterfly favorite. I have pink, blue and rainbow bushes and butterflies are in my yard a lot. Usually, they grow between 4 and 5ft. Mine are taller than my husband and he is 6ft tall.
You can grow butterfly bushes by sowing their seeds in pots. Later, you can transfer the bushes to your outdoor garden in spring.
These seeds are tiny and are very hard to count so you will get way more than 12.
They are freshly dried seeds, so you will need to stratify them. Fill a zip lock baggie with damp peat moss and drop the seeds in. Seat it, give it a quick shake and place it in your refrigerator for 4 weeks.
Fill 4" pots with potting soil, deposit one seed into each pot, pushing the seed down 1". Mist the soil lightly. Place the pot in an area that receives bright indirect sunlight while maintaining a temp of 75 degrees. Keep the soil moist. Germination usually takes 20 - 30 days. Transplant outdoors in spring. Space 4 - 6ft apart.
I keep an eye on all of my auctions and I fan as many of my bidders as I can during the bidding process until the auction ends. So, if you bid and don't win, you have probably gained a new fan. That would be me thanking you for bidding on my listing. Keep in mind that in order for me to have enough fans available to fan everyone that bids, bidders have to fan me also. If I don't get fanned back, I can only fan back so many. I ALWAYS fan my winners. Thank you for bidding.
