Sow from late winter to early spring in a good compost just covering the seed. Make sure compost is moist but not wet. Seal in polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 7-14 days @ 60-68F

Transplant to 3" pots when large enough to handle and grow in cooler conditions. for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost 12-15" apart.
