Description

The listing, **LOOK** Nexus 7 - 32GB & Loaded W/ Extras! (Please Read!) has ended.

This is one awesome tablet and I am remiss to get rid of it! It was my baby and I took VERY good care of it. I have had two separate virus and spy-ware protectors on it since day one. It has always had a screen protector on it and in a protective case. Unfortunately, it took a tumble from someone else hands and that was all it took. It fell just right on the corner and cracked the screen. The tablet still works perfectly and can be fully functional and navigated if using a keyboard case. Only the scree in the lower corner is dead because of the impact. All it needs is a replacement screen and those are cheap and easy to come by. I just don't have the tech abilities to fix it myself. I am hoping that it will find a good home with someone who can repair it and let it live the many years it has left in it. I only used it for about a month, and other than the crack it is in impeccable condition. I am also including the case I bought for it which is in awesome condition. As you can see in the pictures it still has the protective plastic on the metal emblem on the front. It has an elastic band to keep it shut and feature a fully 360 rotating back that allows for up to 8 different viewing angles! It's a 30.00 dollar value in itself. I also am including a pen/stylus in one (15.00$), a usb adaptor and a set of noise reduction ear buds. It also comes with the original charger, box and case. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this auction! I really hope this finds a good home with someone who can fix it back to it's original glory!

So, the scree does work aside from the one corner?

The bottom portion of the screen below the crack does not respond to touch. Above the crack the screen is just fine. You can navigate it using a keyboard. There is nothing wrong with the tablet except the bottom corner of the screen. The screen just needs to be replaced and It will be as good as new!

Can you take a picture of the crack?

Yes, I can try again! I was really struggling in getting it to show up on the pics because it's such a thin crack. I will try to get some outside in the natural light, hopefully that will help!

Ship it with tracking no. to NY?

Yes of course! Everything I ship is done with priority and tracking! I always try to ship same day as auctions end or the day after. The weather does effect shipping some, but that is to be expected right now with winter the way it is!!!

Does everything still work fine

Yes and No... The tablet itself works great and if you have a keyboard for it you can navigate all the apps and everything works just fine. I can still use it to read books, listen to music, access the internet and everything else I use to do on it. The only issue is the bottom half of the screen, below the crack is dead. It will not respond to touch. All it needs is a screen replacement. It has been fully updated and has been running anti-virus software on it since the first day I turned it on. It was very gently used (mainly for music and reading) and functions just fine. I love it and it's a great tablet. It gives the IPad a run for it's money! I just don't have the experience or access to a repair place to get it fixed. I would rather it go to someone who can fix it properly and enjoy it as it deserves! There is nothing wrong with it at all except for the screen and I hate to see it go to waste!

The tablet itself did not come with a Keyboard. I had won one on an auction on here. When I got a new case for it I re-auctioned the other one off because I could barley use the keyboard. It was just to small for my hands. However, it has been hooked up to another tablet keyboard and all was well! You can flip this one around so that the screen will change positions and access any of the applications without a glich. When it was first dropped I had planned on fixing it, so that was how I used it. Either with a keypad or by turning it over and over..... That got old and I quickly realized by reading repair instructions that I was not comfortable in doing them myself and ruining what is a perfectly good tablet!!!

Do you know if it is possible to repair the dead part of the screen?

I don't. The only way I know of to fix it is to repair the screen. You can purchase repair kits with a new screen, digitizer and tools from amazon pretty cheaply and they are easy to find! As I mentioned before, I don't have access to a repair shop that has the capabilities to fix it as is, so I can't say for sure. I live in the middle of nowhere! I don't want to give you a definitive answer because I have no way of knowing!
