Amish handcrafted large recipe card or gardening seed packet storage basket; Or great for a napkin or letter / mail holder (bigger than appears see measurements below). Seed packet can fit in either direction with plenty of room to spare either way. Wooden splint construction in Excellent condition used only for display. Woven with solid hickory wood splits Hand dyed forest green and brick red woven area and the traditional hand-woven rope around the upper edge. Basket is firm and tight just like the day it was made. Amazing condition! Signed on the bottom by the artist “A. H. 94”. No chips, no holes, no cracks, not rickety or loose anywhere, no missing weave, no repairs - Extra nice! This is not new it was purchased years ago at a road side Amish basket sale near the town of Windsor, Missouri; A largely Mennonite community. Handmade quality would look great with Longaberger baskets. Piece has only been used for display and is in excellent condition.

Measurements (measured outside edges of basket): 7 ¼ inches wide by 5 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches tall.
