Rare Hand Carved Vintage German Black Forest Carving; Mountain Man Spice, Loose Leaf Tea, or Tobacco Jar. Very fine Hand Carved Black Forest hardwood Walnut or Hickory. There is a matching wooden cap inside that protects the wooden threads on the lid from the contents. Cap inside sticks slightly from age? and is a little stiff to pull the cap in or out; Lid screws on and off perfectly. Probably a Souvenir of Germany; It appears to be old treenware, but, the inside remains like new though it smells old. It has apparently been stored in a cabinet for years and never used. I am not the original owner and do not know and can't guarantee the age, but, appears vintage and has a few usage marks on the outside and a the cover is very worn smooth from fingers.

Measurements: 3 3/4 inches tall by 2 3/4 inches wide.
Condition:
Beautiful! No chips, no cracks, no chigger bites, no scuffs, no damages, and appears never used.
