This is not a First Day Cover.
It is a "commemorative cancel" for the first use of the airport for air mail.
FDCs are about the 1st use of a stamp.
That does not mean that this is insignificant - just not an FDC.
My father and I (and I am an old man) collected 'First Air Mail Flight' covers out of any town in the USA -- and this is a beauty!
