Hello everyone! I am back! Are you ready for a whole new set of fabulous auctions? I sure hope so!

Let's Begin:
This is definitely one of the more curious items I have come across, it appears to be a medal of some kind. I am unsure of it's age, origin or material. It is fairly small and features an image of two horses on their hind legs surrounding a shield like image. There are three images inside the shield from top to bottom, one looks like the silhouette of a ship, I am unsure of what the center and bottom images are. Above the shield is an eagle with wings out. The back features a large pin with grooves and a smaller spike at the top, It closes by screwing on a gear like plate to the largest spike. I assume the smaller pin is to hold it in place on a uniform. I have no idea at all what this is and would love to find out <3 So please comment away below!

it looks like the state seal of Pennsylvania

I looked up the seal and it indeed is the Pennsylvania state seal. Do you know why they would make a medal of it? Is this awarded to anyone? The medal appears quite aged. I would love to know more

it could be from any of the state officers, legislatures, governor, lawyer, etc. I don't know why they made these, It does have the Keystone and State Seal, so I am thinking it is for government officials.

It could be any of the law enforcement departments of the state. the military did use the keystone emblem, but with you being in new jersey it is probably from pa.

Could be a PA National Guard pin from the past. Most likely a state police item though!

This appears to be a vintage Pennsylvania State Police hat badge; however, hat badges are/were typically larger, but all usually had/have, screw backs such as the one you have here.

Yes. If you notice, the back also contains a bar above the screw back; this helps to hold the badge in place so it doesn't end up turning upside down!

This one is a really rare and unique piece. Not sure of its age, but I think it's an early one; possibly 40s or 50s. I have only seen 2 others like it and this one is in exceptional condition. Nice find!
