is the leather cow hide or sheep hide?

It is leather, not sure which one. But if I was guessing it would be cow hide. Because sheep hide is very soft and supple in your hands. If you ever held leather from a sheep in your hands you would remember. This is soft but not that supple. The reason I can't verify is because it is already packed, and waiting on the winner.
