The listing, Original 1963 Topps BUBBA MORTON (Tigers) - Good shape! has ended.
This is a 1963 Topps #164 BUBBA MORTON baseball card.
Bubba was a right fielder for the Detroit Tigers.
Right field was no place to be in Detroit in 1963 unless your name was Al Kaline, so Bubba was used sparingly in right and primarily as a pinch hitter during his 3 years with the Detroit Tigers. This became the trend for the low-power outfielder who had trouble breaking into a starting 9 in his 8 MLB seasons. His best season came in 1967 when he batted .313 while appearing in 80 games.
Aside from some minor vintage surface wear, this card is in great shape with decent corners and nice color.
