The listing, Cricket broadband modem has ended.

I paid $50 for this about 2 months ago. It just does not fit my households gaming needs! Comes with original box (ripped) and instructions. Questions? Ask!

would I need to call someone for net service? Could a laptop that doesnt have wifi, pick up wireless networks with this?

Yes, you would have to take it to a Cricket store or authorized dealer and get it activated. You may even be able to do it by phone at 1-800-cricket. It costs about $50 a month for service and I think they have deals where you can activate one for free. As far as needing wifi, I honestly do not know, I wouldn't think so, but I would definately call them and find out! Hope this helped a little!!

I am in Tennessee. I don't know. I suggest going to Cricket.com or calling 1-800-CRICKET to see if they offer service where your at!
