Description

The listing, JAR OF ANTIQUE MAR'BLES CIRCA 1940'S has ended.

JAR OF ANTIQUE MARBLES CIRCA 1940's. These were bought from an Estate sale and are just plain glass marbles, they may have even been hand made as each marble is not exact or cookie-cutter shaped. They are very pretty and probably were played with a lot many, many years ago. They are in exquisite shape for their age. ANTIQUE GLASS JAR INCLUDED. Very cool and would be a great addition to any collection.

I only accept Paypal. I can only mail to verified addresses and I follow all rules as listed per Listia.

No returns or buyers remorse - sorry! Please read description and take a good look at all of the pictures before bidding and / or please feel free to email me with any questions you may have.

Have fun and thank you so much for looking. Good Luck!!

you are most welcome! that is so sweet! you peaked my curiosity about the age of the marbles so i did a little research and the glass jar they actually are in is from Curries Ice Company, Los Angeles, CA circa 1946...if you google it you will see some cool black n white pics of the store in 1946...anyways, that adds more merit to the assumption that they are indeed from the 1940s...too bad there is no shooter:) anyways, there are 41 marbles in collection and one of them is a red, white, and blue clear swirl marble....thanks again for looking:)

you are 200% right on the money! i became a grandma 2 years ago, and wow is all i can say...yes, it IS the little things that they will remember the most especially when they are all grown up and have their own children...i still remember my grandma and i only was only 5 when she passed...i have thought of her everyday for the last 41 years and will always miss & love her and wish that i could have had more time with her...grandmas are pretty special too:)
