The listing, Authentic Tony Gonzales Autographed Rookie Card has ended.

You are bidding on an amazing card which was autographed by one of the best if not the best tight end of all time in the NFL. He was an amazing talent for my hometown chiefs and it was a sad day to see him leave but the fans in Atlanta had to have been happy to have him for the short time they had him.

It was announced last week that he has joined the NFL Today cast on CBS. So needless to say in a few years he will be joining the Hall Of Fame on a first ballot.

This card was signed and authenticated in 1997 by the score board and was given to me by the person in the picture. His wife was a close friend of mine and had the occasion in my job to meet and socialize with many of the chiefs players throughout the years.

This card is only going to go up in value and out of all the autographed cards out there Tony G. will probably be known throughout history as the greatest tight end of all time as well as the player that invented the football touchdown dunk. If you need to see his list of records google his name lol.

YES!! Coming from a lifelong Falcon, it has been an honor just to watch & admire the grace & true excellence of as you so ellequently stated yes arguably the best tight end to ever play the game!! I just wish my boys could have gave him a most deserved Superbowl, but at least we did get him a playoff win! Will always be one of my alltime favorite players & will be dearly missed!! Framed jersey on the wall /w/ tons of rookie & career cards. Won an auto card from a scammer on this site, but you live & learn! This is a great card!! Good luck, you deserve every credit you get! Don't think i'll have enough, but definitely watching & fanned just for the respect!!! Thanks!!

I just caught this. Are you saying that T.G. gave you this card personally? Man, INCREDIBLE!! I'm from Danville VA. & we had a Falcon named Buddy Curry back in the 80's that's my rhyme & reason. He went to UNC & as far as I know still owns a few school records. I walked by his parents house on the way to 4th grade (back when a kid could walk to school) & they had a Falcon helmet cut in half & hung on the front door! Falcon from then on & I'm 43 now! David Wilson from the Giants is from Danville also. I don't know if you know or remember these players, but Ferrell Edmonds (Dolphins) Herman Moore (Lions & 1 of the best recievers to play for 1 of the worst teams ever,even though they had B.Sanders) were also from Danville.Sorry don't meen to bore you, it's just cool some of the stories & people you come in to contact with on this site! If you have a B. Curry or get rid of anyother T.G memorabilia please let me know!! Again good luck /w/ the card!! Awesome!!!!

Ya I met tony through a couple other players and know his wife well tobi is such a sweet girl and tony is a great person, I got the card from tobi because I refuse to ask the players for their autos or talk sports with them. It's fun to see these guys relaxed and not putting on a show for the media, I've got stories that would make your head spin lol. I could probably get some more of Tonys stuff but he's going to be in NYC from now on I would imagine, though his brother and mom still live here. I could see about other falcons stuff I'm sure she could ask for me lol.
