I can tell you from personal experience, Nioxin products are a godsend to anyone experiencing thinning hair. In 2011, after losing a lot of weight in a short amount of time, my hair started to fall out ~ this was very distressing & I went to a dermatologist, he suggested Nioxin.

Thankfully I no longer have to use this but am very thankful for the help it provided.

There are many different Nioxin formula's & I also have a System 4 Cleanser listed. The only difference between # 4 & 6 is that 4 is meant for fine hair, 6 for medium to course. However, I think both formula's will be a benefit, no matter the hair texture.

How long to work: Results vary, some people notice a difference within a couple shampoo's, others noticed after a month & up to four months.
