The band size is standard which means 8 inches including the watch.
It does not say waterproof.

I always put a battery for 5 mins and remove it after I take pics, if it does not sell I do not want to keep a battery in.
Sometimes, I lost watches due to battery leaking on watches set to sleep for 5 years or longer.
