Great Britain km856 1/2 Crown (1937-1946) This coin indeed is from England and was the staple of the coinage during WWII. The guy is King George the 6th. This is the same guy referred to in the movie the King's Speech. Father of Present day Queen Elizabeth the 2nd. Hope this helps your sale
