Can I forward traffic to a web server I run from my own home? I have access to several public statics and would love to use this service as a redirect. How does that work anyway? I'm just a network engineer, so all I'm good for is configuring routers to redirect to gateways/servers, hosted mail services, etc... but would love to move my travel blog to a hosted service. I'm new to all this. This is a terrific offer for someone who wants a great basic website to promote their product or service!! Thanks in advance!

You can forward to other servers, but you'd really want to just move the blog to our servers, or let us move it for you. :)
The control panel we use has a basic DNS editor built in, so you can add A, MX, and CNAME records. If you need to add TXT or SRV records, you can just email support and we'll take care of it for you ASAP(usually within 15-20 min.)

Another question does this auction include any ad-credits for any sites? Most sites include them when you buy a plan from them, since this is free you don't have to include any but, I'm just asking.

We're working on being able to offer google adwords credits, but as a rule they can only be applied to new adwords accounts. This is typically the case with yahoo and facebook credits as well. There are ways for smaller companies to get adwords credits, usually buying them at a deep discount from other companies. If you when the auction, we should be able to offer free credits before the year is up, and of course we'll be letting you and our other customers know when they're available.

RebornHunter, sorry to say but, although thats a great deal as NerdyHost was kinda trying to say there are different quality's of hosting. My friend has a site with JustHost and from what I here it sounded like low-end hosting. Most sites are Mid-end hosting, wich sounds like what NerdyHosting is. High-end hosting is almost impossible to come by and you'll know you see it when your paying $200s a month. Even some popular sites like google do not have high-end hosting for the simple fact that there is absolutely no need. NeryHosting seems good to me and I will almost 100% be winning this auction.

you can get a website for 200 for 2 years, with unlimited everything, this is I dont think a great deal at all, what can you possibly build with this amount of space. try www.justhost.com that is much better :D

I'm glad someone brought this up.
If you actually tried to put 12GB worth of content on justhost's shared servers, your sites would be suspended immediately. Not to mention that with any oversold host like justhost, you're sharing a server with 1000 clickbank schemes, email marketers, and who knows what else.
Avoiding the "unlimited space/entire internet for $5/mo" game allows us to filter out a lot of the problem sites that are attracted by that sort of marketing.
Hard drives with "unlimited space" do not exist, and any claim of "unlimited space" is a lie, plain and simple. Who wants to start a relationship with a lie?
