The design was created as a Welcome sign for a shop / studio or bedroom, maybe office, I suppose the front door is okay too but more for your personal space.

Picture is with plain floss, on solid periwinkle fabric..............but 211 and 775 can be substituted with blending filament for a nice effect, also the little flecks of white are white glass seed beads,.........and it would also be neat to do on a hand dyed fabric, maybe even opalescent, or give it s shot of spray glitter for fabric in a few spots when done...... gives it that little extra something.

Finished size is as follows

11 ct - 31 3/4 x 10 1/8"

14 ct - 25 x 8"

18 ct - 19 3/8 x 6 1/8"

Framing can be done, even though its an odd size, custom frames and mats can be made at Hobby lobby and Michaels craft stores, or, if someone you know is handy, you can mount this on a piece of wood, using apolstry nails around the edges on the front and glue the back down well.

If thats too heavy adhere it to a good piece of cardboard...but make sure you only use glue on the BACK, don't glue where you've stiched, just the edges to the back of the cardboard. If it seeps through it would ruin your work.

Please see my listings for other original designs and patterns of historical works.

That's enough out of me

Thanks for Looking, and HAPPY STITCHING!
