This Stuff is Free Too:
Description

The listing, Nikon EM 35mm Film Camera Body has ended.

This auction is for a used but pretty nicely maintained Nikon EM 35mm Film camera body. This is a camera from the days when Nikon, Pentax, Olympus, Canon and Minolta made cameras that were built to last and built like tanks. This is a very nice looking old camera, built to last and feels very substantial to hold!

The auction includes the camera body as well as a body cap and original camera strap plus the original owners manual.

Everything is in great working order - shutter fires at all speeds, self-timer works great, there is some minor wear due to normal use.

The only flaw is that a previous user inscribed their name on the side of the prism housing. (see photo)

SHIPPING IS 8.99 to the continental US with delivery confirmation, tracking number and insurance.

Ask me any questions you might have - this would be a great way to shoot some film if you have/can get a Nikon manual focus lens to put on it. Happy bidding!

Fan me, watch this item (please watch till the end!), and HAVE FUN BIDDING :-)

No, ma'am. I was selling a Nikon N2020 AF last week. This is a Nikon EM.

Sorry I just noticed that. Can you tell me what the difference is please?

The Nikon EM is a manual-focus camera, and the Nikon N2002AF is an autofocus camera. That's the biggest difference - the EM is an older model, the N2002 AF is a newer model. They're both 35mm film SLRs, they're both compatible with Nikon mount lenses, I could go on and on, but I would prefer to answer specific questions rather than write an article here comparing the Nikon EM to the Nikon N2002 AF.

Ok I never got back to the other one about my lenses but I have an old Nikon lens DX AF-S Nikkor 55-200 mml 1:4-5.6G. Do you know if that will fit? I used to have the old body but I got rid of it because the lens fit my new Nikon D3000. Now I wish I still had the 35 mm too. Based on the fact that it's called an AF-S I'm thinking it may not fit, unless all Nikon lens's are compatible like mine were to my surprise. Although my D3000 is an AF-S too, lol!

A Nikon G lens won't work on the EM - it was made to work with earlier lenses that had aperture rings. Your lens will physically mount on the camera, but there's no way for the camera to control the aperture.
