i know it hasn't been used since 91, so I couldn't tell ya if it still works or not, I don't know exactly how to wind it up, and I know that it's gold tone, or like that, sorry I can't tell you much , I know that it belonged to my grandmother, than my mother, now me, and I have no use for it
