You get this genuine wwll the japanese government 5 pesos note #0914997, and it has been printed on watermark paper that shows a plant when you hold it up to the light at the serial numbers!!!! size is 6.25" x 2.75" and notice it looks like a u.s.a. five dollar bill of the time, they copied the design because it was to be used in the u.s.a. too after they took over the states!!!!
this note has no holes!!!! and the back side of the note around where it says "pesos" the paper has a snake skin look to it!!!!
the printing and engraving on these early notes were much better than the end of the war notes that were printed in haste and with no serial numbers!!!! this one has a early number #0914997 and i guess the "7" under the monument is the 7th. printing?? or month??? or place???? and there is a rising sun seal to the right of the left bottom "5" !!
the note looks like it was folded once in a bill fold, you can hardly tell!!!
