Shipping would probably cost less if sent in a regular priority mail box done by weight. Or in a regional rate box done by weight. Or there's always parcel post. Any of these would be cheaper than flat rate. Flat rate boxes are NOT a good deal by any means. The only way they work out cheaper is if you're sending something EXTREMELY heavy like lead! lol

@armeedertoten. I'd like to know what free boxes your grabbing at the post office that you don't get charged for. The only ones you can do that with are flat rate boxes and you still have to pay when you ship it
