This is 100% acrylic reclaimed yarn. The yarn is loose right now. I wrapped it around my elbow and tied it at each end. The winner will want to wind it right away to prevent tangles. There are 5 separate pieces. The grand total of all this yarn weighs whopping FOUR HUNDRED grams.

I believe that it depends on the fiber but it should be close to 220 yards per 50g.

Smoke free?

Yes we r smoke free. However I got this from a resale store so I can't tell you if it was smoke free from its last owner. I can't smell smoke on it tho
