Here is a vintage pair of Micro-Mosaic clip-on earrings that are still on their original sale card. The card has some wear, as these have been handled, taken off, put back on, etc. But the earrings have no markings, and the card tells us that the earrings are from Italy and are 'real mosaic'.
The setting is quite lovely with bright gold-tone surround, and tiny red & while flowers which circle the center of the oval, and in the center a mosaic design with blue pieces around 4 tiny yellow pieces.
Quite unique - but don't bid unless you are wanting the clip-on style! I suppose they could be converted to pierced, by a jeweler-craftsman. I will leave that to you!
