10~ Amaranth 'Molten Fire' Seeds
Amaranthus gangeticus

One of the most colorful amaranths, this stunning variety is grown for its bright, glowing crimson-maroon foliage. Quickly growing to 4' high, these are excellent plants for long-lasting fillers for beds or toward the back of your garden. The leaves are edible and also make great "cut flowers" to brighten indoor flower arrangements. They do produce a dark red seed head composed of tiny flowers but the flowers go mostly unnoticed because of the showy foliage. May self-seed in some zones. .I only ship to Listia verified addresses so PLEASE will you have that taken care of before you bid? I'd hate to just keep your credits. It seems to be a problem on here so I thought I would address it now.
Thanks, For checking out my auction!

This is beautiful. Do you grow them in your yard? Can you tell me what areas/zones they will thrive in, I live in Virginia. Also, is this an annual? Thx.

Younger leaves have a milder flavor and are good to use in salads. Mature leaves have a flavor similar to spinach. Use amaranth as a substitute for spinach in recipes
