When twelve year old Shawn Reynolds hears about WWE's WrestleMania contest for kids, he isn't too impressed. After all, he only watches WWE with his wrestling-obsessed dad, so he can spend quality time with him. But after Shawn finds out that his dad, a soldier in the army is being deployed, he decides to enter the contest as a gift to him. Pretty soon Shawn finds himself kneepad-deep in the competition, willing to do whatever it takes to win the ultimate prize: a scholarship and backstage pass to WrestleMania. But Shawn better watch his back or he's bound to get pinned by the competition!
