The listing, Dirty old broken Clock(Vintage) has ended.
It's dirty ,it's old,it's broken , it's a mess and it needs love! Haha!! If you love cleaning and fixing old clocks, this auction is for YOU!! This was my father's (who today would be just over 100 yrs old (mother is 93!! And still going strong!) . My father died in the early 1960's , so I can verify it is certainly older than that! The wood (cleaned up) would look great! I think it might be pecan or walnut, not sure. The glass is cracked , the feet and trim are brass (actually the wood could even be Mahogany) . It's 4"x4 1/2 x 2 1/4: deep. The old cord needs to be replaced(DO NOT PLUG THIS IN AS IT IS WITHOUT REPLACing the cord!! It is worn right through! I am NOT responsible, if you try it! It's "AS IS" and at your own risk!Your local hardware store can probably put a new cord on for very little $. I didn't clean it up because I figured you will want to "unveil" it! Cleaned and polished with a new cord, it will make a handsome clock! The label is intact on the bottom "model # 7H209" made by Telechron part of General Electric(G.E.) And it was made in Ashland , Mass. (I'm from Mass.)I know my Dad would be thrilled if someone would fix it and get it going once more! Note: before I ship it, I might just cut off the cord , so you don't try anything funny! Lol!(better safe than sorry!!). Shipping is for the exact price of whatever type of shipping you chose. If you want it bubble pak and in an envelope , it's at your risk, but I do recommend Insurance and tracking. If you want it Priority or some other way ,in a box, I can do that , too.
