FREE: Two Fine art of Europe WWII Post Cards

The listing, Two Fine art of Europe WWII Post Cards has ended.

These two postcards were brought back from Europe by my Uncle in WWII.

The postcard on the left has some slight dampness issues, mostly on the bottom. I can make out FIRENZE Ma... del Corde_lino Raffaelle - Gall_ Uffizi. It is of The Madonna del cardellino or Madonna of the Goldfinch, is a painting on wood, by the Italian renaissance artist Raphael, from c. 1505-1506. It currently hangs in Galleria degli Uffizi, Florence.

The second postcard is a copy of S. Giovani Battista (John the Baptist) by the renaissance artist, Andre del Sarto (1486-1530). It hangs in Firenze (Galeria Pitti) This card is stamped on the back as having been printed in Zurich. The upper left corner has been bent at sometime, and both card are a bit yellowed with age.
