They are Japanese or Chines that's why they don't have saucers I have a Dinner china set that my Husband got over seas so it comes with a Tea service too . Very Pretty cant wait to see the other one :)
My son got it for me while he was stationed in Japan. He just got back to the states last month but still can't see him for he couldn't take leave so he is in NM and I am in OH I do miss that boy...man. He could not take leave cause his ex is wanting to go on vacation without the two boys so he has to take leave and go stay in her place in Utah and watch his sons...Utah won't allow him to leave the state before they are 12 isn't that stupid I mean they are his sons! We can't even see them. I have met the oldest twice and the youngest once makes me not feel like I am a grandmother yet! Ok did not mean to complain here sorry. Happy Evening :) Dovey
iam going to say oriential looked and looked on the internet I found 1 set like it. Even had this red material case for it but the one I had was ruined from weather. Then the wooden box it came in along with other items was oriential such as chop sticks, etc etc.
