I just love this piece!! You wrote such a nice description of it but I wanted to double check on the chain and the mermaid itself. Are they actually sterling silver or are they plated? I see the wire around the bead is silver plated but that doesn't necessarily mean the rest of the piece is so I just wanted to ask.
