The listing, 8GB IPOD Touch **PLEASE READ!!** has ended.

8GB Apple iPod Touch.
This was dropped. The screen is cracked at the top, so you are unable to see the screen. The music is still paying though LOL
I went to the Apple store and they want $100 to fix this.
I don't have the cash to fix it, so I will give this away to someone who knows how to fix it, or has the money to get it fixed.
Smoke Free and Pet Free home.

It's either the 5th or 4th generation iPod touch.( 5th came out last year.) And yes replacing the screen is NOT hard. Quite easy if u have patience and can be gentle with it. Apple will ask 100$ to
Fix it, however-I replaced my screen myself, and I payed $20 (off ebay)) for the screen-with the LCD plate attached of course-and all the tools needed to repair it. ( really all u need is some double sided adhesive, tweezers, thin knife -blow dryer or heat gun. ) I watched 3-5 videos online on how to replace it, before I started-so I knew what to expect. Plus it's good
To get a few different point of views. And on my first try I replaced it fine. :)
However it took me a few hours and not a few minutes like the videos. But I was very careful n took my time.

The screen on the iPods are only being held on using adhesive. Regular double sided tape. Mine was the 3M brand. Ha-who would of thought!!
You could EASILY get 66,666 for this.

I wish I had the time and patience to attempt it.. I spent so much money on this ipod and I am so sad that it broke.

Ummmmm because Listia calls it that!! I started this at 0, and people are bidding their credits, There wouldn't be any point in earning credits if we can't spend them..and we can't spend them if we don't earn them.

Hey babe-me again. ;) I was thinking something. Bc the screen is "blacked out" you are unable to set it to factory settings. Once the winner receives the iPod, and changes the screen-- all of the info you originally had on the iPod- such as passwords and such, they will need to reset it. I know a way around it-I think. But I don't know if everyone else does. So will u also send them the password to unlock the iPod-from the main screen---so that they can get into the iPod, to reset it. ?
Also-I messaged u- please check it before the auction ends. It's very important!

Is the back chrome or painted? Chrome=4th gen, painted/color=5th gen. Looks like a 4th cuz its more rounded at the corners. The 5th resembles an iphone

Yes ma'am. It is a USB cable that attaches to the wall adapter. So you can connect it to a computer or to a wall.

I know that this is either the iPod 4 or iPod5 but I can't tell which from the pictures. =)

It looks just like the photos, I don't know what else to tell you. I am not an iPod user or expert, this is my son's. What I do know is that Apple said it would be $100 to fix it, and people on here said it can be done for way cheaper if you know what you're doing.

If someone wants to change the screen- we need to know which one it is- since they are different size n shape screens.

Please let me know ASAP. I don't know if it would say anything on the back or not. Can u check?? If u don't no- it may help if u measured the height n width. The 5s are taller n slimmer I believe.
