The listing, Making MONEY w/Hollywood Movie Ideas DVD has ended.
Have you ever left a movie theater muttering, "I could think up a better story than that!"? Or have you been nurturing a great idea for a film, but lacked the connections necessary to sell it to Hollywood?Studios are more eager than ever to hear pitches for reality TV shows.
Think controversial. Think outrageous.
What will cause people to talk about a show at work the next day?
For features, romantic comedies are always in demand. Think about how ideas can be adapated. For example, CBS Features just greenlighted a version of Beauty and the Beast set in high school.
This is a CD for people from all walks of life -waitresses, cab drivers, mothers, policemen, you name it -- who have a great idea for a movie.
The CD includes:
* Digital video -- 48 minutes of interviews in video
* Interactive features with audio
Chapters on:
* The Marketplace of Ideas -- how Hollywood works and why there is an opportunity for "outsiders."
* Spec vs. Pitch -- the advantages/disadvantages of pitching an idea instead of writing a spec script. The only chapter primarily for screenwriters, but of value to everyone planning to submit ideas.
* Story Structure 101 -- how movie and television stories are constructed.
* Good Idea Hunting -- where to find good ideas.
* Pitchable vs. Unpitchable Ideas -- how to know if an idea can be pitched or not.
* The Idea Builder's Gym -- exercises for developing ideas. Build your conceptual "muscles!"
* Anatomy of a Story Deal -- the nitty gritty of how deals are put together and how much you can earn.
Mac and Windows:
The CD will play on both Mac and Windows with two important differences for Mac users: 1) when Apple released OSX it eliminated autoplay for CD-ROMs, so that feature does not work 2) it also eliminated the video codec needed to play back the visuals to the videos on the disc. The audio track of the videos will play, but not the picture.
