2 Hard Plastic "Travel Dolls".
Circa 1940's.
8" tall.
Though not marked, but these are likely Duchess travel dolls, produced between the late 1940s to early 1950s. Common characteristics include non-removable clothing, sleep eyes, non jointed legs and hips, and molded shoes.

These beautiful Irish dolls wear a long satin gowns with shamrock prints and fancy trim. The brunette wears a large green bonnet style felt hat and the ginger haired doll wears a small shamrock hat. Both have nice face paint and sleep eyes, but the brunette's sleep eyes have some chipping to the white paint. The ginger doll has bright, rosy peace skin, while the brunette's skin is a pale, ashier color. The ginger doll has a missing index finger on her left hand.

Both dolls need to be restrung as they were found with dried rubber bands holding their jointed arms and necks in place. This can be easily done with a new rubber band.
