Mimosa pudica (from Latin: pudica "shy, bashful or shrinking"; also called sensitive plant, sleepy plant and the touch-me-not), is a creeping annual or perennial herb often grown for its curiosity value: the compound leaves fold inward and droop when touched or shaken, to protect them from predators, re-opening minutes later. The species is native to South America and Central America, but is now a pantropical weed. It grows mostly in shady areas, under trees or shrubs. this is for 4 seed and growing instructions!!!!

I've had this one before. My brother in law was so fascinated with it he sat there and kept playing with the leaves and watching them close and then reopen! Mind you he's 67 yrs. old! LOL

you know I'm not even sure how I found this auction but that plant is sweet,
I am sure if that if any MJ users (besides me) seen this your bids would sky rocket,
(if I had the credits I would use the GIN) so you might want to think about adding something in the description about it being (a great marijuana time waster) so it shows up in the listings for those that are looking for stuff like this, just my thoughts but if I had a plant like this up for auction I could get the GIN plus extra,
just saying and trying to help you out, this is a great auction 8=)

Can you grow this indoors as a potted plant or is it best grown outside so it can spread?

It's tropical so unless you live in that sorta area I would go indoors with it. I live in texas..I keep all my tropicals indoors and in spring I let them hand out on porch till it gets too hot..repot and bring them in. It's been working for me and them for 4 yrs. But you can grow anything indoors with the proper lighting.

I personally would never try to germinate a tree, bulb flower, or rose from seed...success rate very low ...takes months to sprout if at all and years for blooms.
