It sure did!!.
My son is 4yo & daughter is 2yo; I let them watch the DVD few times a day. They eventually learned to recognize, & spell the words fluently. Now that if I turn this DVD on again, they would sing aloud along with what's is on the DVD as they recognize, memorize the words & rhythm everytime that word pop up in the screen.
