I'm new to Listia, I think I understand how it works(?), but I'm wondering if there is something I've missed...what rules should I know before bidding on this listing? Thank you in advance for your time and assistance!
I put that on my listings becuz several people who have won my auctions did not n verify their address to receive their item.
Listia's rules state that the winner of the auction has up to 7 days to do this which is ample time to do it. It only takes maybe 10 seconds! If they don't verify it after 7 days Listia states that the buyer can keep the person's credits and relist the item.
I always send an email when someone wins an auction of mine and tell them to verify their address asap so I can ship them their item. Some people do it without having to ask them. I always try to! If they don't get it done after the 7 days I send an email saying they have lost their credits and will not receive their item. I had a few "newbies" open a case against me saying they never received their item and want their credits back. I tell Listia that they never verified their address within the 7 day period and I win every case! Just becuz they didn't know the rules! Some of my auctions I charge a shipping fee and a few people never paid the shipping fee so they never received their item they won and opened a case against me saying they never received their item and I just say becuz they did not pay the fee within 7 days and I have won all of those cases. But it's such a hassle becuz I have to wait 7 days to see who the winner is, then another 7 days waiting for them to verify their address, then more days waiting for Listia to make their decision and then I relist it and start all over again! It's such a waste of my time and should not happen but it does. I had to do this 3 times on one of my auctions! So, you are fine to bid on this. Hope this helps you! If I can help you out further or i you have any more questions feel free to email me. I like helping out new members!
So, Good Luck with your bidding on Listia! Fanned you! :)
carmenmarina180 those "rules' were for a "newbie" who wanted to know what rules I was talking about and I was explaining them to her which rules I meant. No need for sarcasm.
