Description

The listing, Noel's Flower Garden, 2011 has ended.

I always add to my flower gardens every year. These are the spare new seeds I have left over for the 2011 buying season.

I often add fresh seeds to old areas to bring some "new blood" to my plants. I have probably close to 40 years of 4 o'clocks... plant & grow, pick the seeds I can & leave the others fall in place, add new seeds to the gleaned ones and plant anew. They will grow as will the ones that fell to the ground. I love this plant!

The cup flower is an new one I am trying. It just looks so lovely!

The mourning bride is also known as the "pin cushion flower" and beautiful. My Grandmother Park grew this flower.

Globe Amaranth reminds me so much of field clover, but with different colors. I wonder if you pull the color part and taste it, if it would have the sweet taste like field clover.

Straw flowers because I want some for fall table decorations and possibly a wreath. It doesn't take too much to dry these for later use.

Armeria Thrift are just pretty and remind me a bit like Bachelor Buttons, only purple instead of blue.

Nasturtuims are wonderful to fill with a lightened cream cheese (whipped cream and cream cheese) and serve with tea. If you plan to eat these, make doubly sure you do not treat these with any chemicals! They have a wonderful lightly pepper flavor.

I start all my seed inside for about week or so and then transplant them into the flower bed. This saves on thinning the plants out and you get a better crop. Be very careful if doing this as the plants are so very fragile. Happy gardening!

There will be enough of each seed to make a small bed or row.

Would you do free shipping to Canada? It should cost only 10 to 40 cents more :) (the price of shipping is fairly easy to check on the USPS web site)

As far as I konw Amaranth is a vegetable as well as beautiful.

Oh my gosh, I never counted them, but enough to make a bunch (like a 10-12" circle spot) or a small row of them all.
