6 LITTLE GLASS AMPULES TIERED AUCTION
Terrific little glass bottles with looooong necks, in the shape called "Ampules". About half the total height is a standard cylindrical shape, at the top of this there is shoulder and above that, is an elongated tulip shaped neck. All are clear. They may have either a blue, gold or ground band on or below the "bulb" of the tulip.
Bud vases for a single forget-me-not, decorative holders for colored sand or water, delicate vials for perfumes and essences, whatever the use, you just won't find them in stores. The 5 ml is 88 mm tall [about 3 1/2"] with a 6 mm neck and is 16 mm in diameter at the bottom. The ampule is one piece and is open at the top. A small bit of cork or wax could be added and a screw eye and voila! Or put in your items and bake a polymer clay stopper onto it. Just make sure the items inside won't melt. Have an eye pin inserted into the clay for hanging it. Clay is baked at 200 degrees so glass, metal, clay items would be OK inside. Use caution, this is only a suggested experiment. I have not done this but plan to try it out.
I am thinking they could be made into a pendant with tiny watch gears inside for a cool steampunk jewelry item that would be very unique. Or put beads in it or small stones, potpourri, dried herbs, whatever suits your fancy! If you put dried lavender in it, leave it open for a wonderful scent as you wear it. Hang it with wire wrapping around the neck or bulb area of the ampule. Go wild with imagination! You can custom design it yourself! I include pix where I added dried flowers, one with amethyst, rose quartz and blue topaz stones. These are cute mini vases!
ADD A BIT OF RIBBON AROUND THE NECK AREA.
I WILL START OUT WITH 6, IT THE BIDS GO OVER 6,000, I'LL ADD 6 MORE FOR A NEW TOTAL OF 12, IF THEY GO OVER 12,000, I'LL ADD 12 MORE FOR A TOTAL OF 24.
These would be perfect for "Living Garden" necklaces!
