6/12/1979 newspaper with the headline "John Wayne dead at 72". It is the Chicago Tribune final edition. it's only the first section, not the whole paper. I have no idea what this is worth, if anything, but I bought it in a storage auction.

The other article at the bottom is about the Sandinista's in Nicaragua and the beginning of the fighting, but that would be over in 2 weeks they promised! It went on forever, led to Iran-Contra and the arms for hostages scandal, so the paper is sort of interesting for other articles as well.

It's been folded and in a box, it has creases, but it's in good condition over all. It might be nice framed for a John Wayne fan. If it turns out to be worth a lot of money, than yay you!
