Up for auction are 100 seeds from last year's crop, so they are ready to plant! The Lemon Cucumber has a distinctive yellow color, flavor and shape and is a treasured choice for summer salads. The fruit, almost round, is about 3 1/2 inches long and just turning an attractive lemon-yellow when mature.

Oh that sounds sooo good! Do you dredge them in cornmeal first? I eat these like apples and I also pickle them near the end of the season when I am so tired of them but they are still producing like crazy! lol

They taste like a regular cucumber but have a thinner skin and are not bitter. I fanned you back. :)

I grow them every year too! And my parents grew them when I was growing up so to me they are the only cucumber to eat! :)

We eat squash dredged in cornmeal and fried, then sprinkled with sugar. I spose you could skip the sugar with cucumbers!

I also wanted to add that I grow my veggies without sprays or pesticides so they are as close to organic as you can get without getting certified. :)

I think these are the best cucumbers. They are thin skinned with no bitterness. Just crisp and refreshing! :)
