The listing, 6 Skeins Flake Cotton Yarn has ended.

6 Skeins Ironstone Flake Cotton Yarn 100% Cotton (mercerized) 328 yds/100g each

GAUGE: single strand - 6 sts/1" or double strand - 4 sts/1" on no. 9 needle

2 skeins 710 medium brown (Lot 132548), 2 skeins 2631 navy blue (Lot 132507),1 skein 7188 medium red (Lot 213951), 1 skein 7617 "vanilla/very lt tan" (Lot 17823).

This yarn is "thick and thin" which makes for an interesting texture.

Note: The red skein is a full skein. I had started to wind it into a ball, then changed my mind.

Is this the thin cotton yarn

It's thick and thin. Mostly thin but it has thicker slubs about every 2 - 5 inches apart along the length (varying distances apart). I made a knitted shawl and my favorite washcloth out of it.

It's OK soft in the skein but it gets much softer after washing.
