I honestly have no idea, i'm sorry. i don't see any markings on it at all, but it looks real. My grandmother gave it to me a long time ago, but i'm just not a gold person myself.

Extremly pretty piece - if you check where the clasp hooks and there are no markings on it there, then it more then likely is plated. I still would love this item.

Have you found anything out yet as to the type of metel? Did you check the chasp ?

I just did a thorough search with a magnifying glass, lol, there is something really small stamped or engraved on it but i cant make it out bc the clasp is so small. So just to be safe, lets say its fools gold

Take a magnet to it, if the braclett attaches tothe magnet, it is overlay, if not then it is real. Please let me know. thanks, Very pretty piece.
