Description

The listing, Vining Peach--12 Fresh Seeds has ended.

They are the same size, color and food value as tree peaches. Vine Peaches make excellent preserves and pies, and have a vine-ripe flavor and texture much like a mango. It's an easy plant to grow, with fruit maturing on spreading vines in about 80 days. Train on a trellis, or let it grow on a fence. Their sugar content is such that if eaten fresh off the vine, they may not seem as sweet as one would expect, but many say they are.
Plant after danger of frost in hills 4 to 6 feet apart. Plant seed not over 1/2 inch deep 4 to 6 to the hill, pressing soil firmly over them. When plants are well established thin to 3 to each hill. Seed can also be started indoors for an earlier harvest. Treat yourself to an unusual fruit!...Packet includes 12 fresh seeds.

They are supposed to be rated at a lower zone 5, but the further south, the better. They about the same size as a large peach. Thanks for the interest.

Yup, you are right...What do Ihave that you would like?
BTW--Since I have dogs and cats running after the moles, my .22 is my only recourse, since i don't want them eating a poisoned mole. It puts me in a hard place...Hope ya'll have been doing well. We are OK here, so you take care and give me ashout.

They are new to me, but I have researched them well. I have had to in order to correctly answer questions put to me by bidders. All I have seen is good, despite their being not as tasty as a peach when picked off of the vine. They are much better when made into pies and preserves due to their sugar content not being on par with grocery store peaches. I am growing them myself this year, and will much better at giving first-hand accounts of their worth next year
We just got over a round of ice that lasted 3 days and really messed up the roads for driving. That hurt because we live 6 miles from town in a hilly area. It was no fun at all, but I am busy startingall kinds of seeds here inside with grow-lights...At least they are making shotshells for our .38 and 9mm's now. The moles stand little chance, but they are persistant...LOL
