An Indian hand painted terracotta round shaped lamp. The back of the lamp is painted red.

Dimensions:
Diameter: 70mm or 2.5"
Depth: 20mm or 0.75"
It is a bit heavy for it's size as it is an earthenware.

Thanks! This is an oil lamp. So a cotton wick & oil is required for this lamp. We use these kind of lamps(Diya) in India during our largest festival named Diwali to spread light & celebrate the victory of Rama: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diya_(light)
