LOL Didn't even consider a GIN. It takes the anticipation out of the equation, I watch my costs but I'm not in this for financial gain as much as the thrill of a big bid. So come on folks I wanna see a WAR! As to the hubby thing...coming up on 32 years...something works!
Only the ring that holds the clasp has a strong attraction, the rest has a very weak attraction. Not solid gold for sure, but every time I look at it I'm struck by how well made and pretty it is. I guess that"s why I bought it in the first place.
Only stamped on receiving end. Scale says 0.59 oz t. According to a gold calculator on another site that puts the gold weight at 0.37 oz t. Wishing I would have done my due diligence before putting this up, would have kept it for melt! At today's gold price 0.37 oz t is worth about $460.
Bought this in about 1995 on the east coast, the 14k stamp is on the crimp at the end of the chain. Most defiantly not from any current stock floating around out there.
And tons! Check out to other auction I just posted for another necklace very similar but not stamped. Another really nice piece that will likely go for less.
That's what I thought when I got it for for her! I guess it's just not her style. Her loss is gonna be someone else's gain! Good luck all and happy bidding!
